Sound Energy Solutions (SES) was formed to establish the first LNG receiving terminal on the West Coast in Long Beach, California.
SES is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mitsubishi Corporation. Mitsubishi has nearly 40 years of experience in worldwide LNG trade, shipping more than half of all LNG into Japan, the world’s largest importer. Shipments come from locations such as Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia, and the Middle East.

By using decades of experience in LNG from the Mitsubishi Corporation, the SES terminal in Long Beach will safely provide an important new supply of natural gas to compete with gas supplied via pipeline from the Southwest and Canada.

The SES office is located in downtown Long Beach. Company representatives have held dozens of meetings with Long Beach community groups and individual residents to outline the importance of the proposed LNG supply terminal.
